You never share your Microsoft password with us. Signing in uses Microsoft's official login (OAuth), so you authenticate directly with Microsoft and we never see or store your password. The token they pass us is only used to fetch your gamertag and your friends list. We can't post, change, buy, or do anything else on your account, and you can revoke our access at any time from your Microsoft account's security settings.

There's currently no way to automatically sync your data as you play, so you'll need to re-sync whenever you'd like your numbers refreshed. Typically after a session you'd open the mobile app and hit the "refresh" button, or on PC use the browser extension to update your numbers.

The Shrouded Ghost is an incredibly rare (some say mythical) Megalodon, and its commendations are widely treated as effectively unobtainable. So that 100% still means something achievable, we exclude a small set of commendations that are practically impossible to earn, like the Shrouded Ghost, from the completion total. That's why someone can legitimately sit at 100% without them.

If your pirates are under separate Microsoft accounts, you'll need to create a separate Number Go Up account for each one, since each account tracks a single pirate. Having multiple pirates under a single Microsoft account isn't currently supported, but it's planned for a future update.

Ask her about commendations and how to earn them, Sea of Thieves lore and Tall Tales, strategies and gold-making tips, or your own progress and what to chase next. If you'd rather sail without her, you can hide the chat button any time from your account settings.
